You may ask why? A puzzle piece is the symbol for Autism Awareness.
Grant is autistic and was the reason Melissa got started making jewelry.
This was a second job to pay Grant's many hours of therapy. This
brings us to our mission as a business.
Our Mission - "We are changing the life of one, together we can change the lives of many"
Together, as families and as a company, we would like to help out other families and children with Autism. Our company will donate a part of profits to the "Lapeer Autism Family Relief Fund". This fund is set up to help other families. If you are interested in helping other families, there are a couple ways to help. You may purchase an item from our products and a part of the profits will go into the fund or you may donate to the site directly.
Lapeer Autism Family Relief Fund - This fund was set up in honor of Grant Johnston and established in 2008. This fund is not set up to benefit Grant but in honor of him. The dollars donated to this fund will help many children and every little bit helps. If you would like to learn more about the fund and make a charitable contribution to help other children with autism, go to www.lapeercountycommunityfoundation.org to help. Every little bit can help children with autism. You may donate directly to the fund through the website stated above.
